Humber Valley Resort is only 20 minutes drive from Deer Lake Airport (YDF) which was recently enlarged to meet the growing demand to the region. Most major Canadian air carriers link with Deer Lake (YDF) providing scheduled accessibility from the international airports of Halifax, NS (YHZ), Montréal, QB (YUL), St. John’s, NL (YYT) and Toronto, ON (YYZ).
Road
Humber Valley Resort is located on the Trans Canada Highway (TCH) between the towns of Corner Brook and Deer Lake at the point where Deer Lake flows into the Lower Humber River. The TCH is fast and wide and provides excellent access to the Resort.
Directions
From Deer Lake Airport (YDF) – turn right onto the TCH heading westbound towards Corner Brook. Proceed past the town of Deer Lake and follow the TCH for approximately 30 km. To access Humber Valley Resort, take Exit 11 off the highway. At the stop sign at the bottom of the offramp, take a right and proceed for approximately 200 yards, then take a left and cross the bridge.
From Corner Brook, heading eastbound, follow the highway for approximately 20 km. Take Exit 11 of the highway. At the stop sign at the bottom of the offramp, take a left, then take a second left and cross under the highway. Follow the road for approximately 200 yards, then take a left and cross the bridge.
