Guest Testimonials
“It is simply a spectacular resort. From the accommodation, to the food, the Beach House, the Club House, the spa, and the people it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed the resort and learned so much about the west coast of Newfoundland…”
- Brenda Trockstad, Classic Canadian Tours, Jan 2007

Alpine Skiing (www.skimarble.com)
Only ten minutes from Humber Valley Resort, Marble Mountain, with verticals of 519m (1,700 feet) provides what is often described as the best skiing east of the Canadian Rockies. With over 175 acres of skiable terrain and 35 groomed trails, including a Terrain Park, half-pipe and seven mogul runs, Marble Mountain caters for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The fact that it is still relatively unknown ensures maximum time on the slopes rather than waiting in lift queues.
Group and individual ski lessons are available from the Marble Mountain Ski School, which offers on-snow programmes for children aged three and above. All participants are encouraged to try skiing with specially trained instructors, and children can also spend time in the supervised children’s centre, which is filled with educational toys and activities to keep them entertained. Parents can ski the day away knowing that their children are having a wonderful time as well.
The on-site rental shop stocks over 700 rental skis, snowboards and snow blades. Other amenities include a restaurant, bar and lounge area.
