Cross-Country Skiing

Situated near Corner Brook, the Blow Me Down Ski Park has over 40km (25 miles) of groomed cross-country trails for classic and skate skiing, from backcountry touring trails to Federation International de Ski (FIS) World Cup-standard racing trails. The facility currently offers a unique night skiing experience Monday to Friday throughout the season.

Just 10 minutes from Humber Valley Resort, Pasadena Nordic Ski Park’s 12.5km (8 miles) of groomed trails pass through the birch, spruce and fir forest and are ideally suited to recreational cross-country skiing. Gros Morne National Park, an hour from the Resort, provides groomed and backcountry skiing opportunities. This backcountry excursion delight Nordic enthusiast and ski huts allow experienced skiers to enjoy overnight trips.

Visiting skiers often sight moose, snowshoe hare, grouse, fox and pine marten during their trip.
